    Anne and Joe Barfield

Chicken Paradise is unique among bed and breakfast accommodations in San Antonio. It offers luxurious accommodations and award-winning cuisine to be sure, but it is the only B&B in San Antonio situated on grounds that have been designated a national and state wildlife habitat.

Anne Barfield was diagnosed with celiac disease in 1998, and found that it necessitated many changes in the way she ate and in how and where she traveled. She and Joe have learned a great deal about food preparation not just for those with celiac disease, but also for those who have other dietary restrictions. Anne and Joe prepare a gluten free breakfast. If your diet has other restrictions, these can be accommodated. Even if you don't have a particular restriction, what Anne and Joe have learned over the years about fresh ingredients and healthy preparation will result in some of the best breakfasts you've ever had.
